Cosmoglottan was created 2019 January 18 to be a syllable-based version of aUI. It is also heavily influenced by Toki Pona, with lesser influences from Volapük and possibly Esperanto. It has coincidental similarities to Ygyde, Vötgil, and Poliespo.
Every Consonant + Vowel (CV) combination has a meaning assigned to it. In its original form, there were twenty one consonants (+ null onset) and eleven vowels, yielding 242 (C)V combinations. This was a bit much, and on 2019 April 25 I pared it down to twenty consonants (mandatory onset) and six vowels to yield 120 CV combinations.
When Cosmoglottan was "reborn" in that April, I decided to make it more a priori, which got rid of the more explicit Esperanto and Volapük influence.
